Bridesmaid Proposal Boxes

When Jon and I first got engaged, one of the things I was most excited to plan was my bridesmaid proposal. I spent days scouring over Pinterest looking for the perfect idea that hopefully wouldn’t break the bank, after all I did have a wedding to plan. I pulled aspects from multiple different boxes on Pinterest, as well as adding some of my own aspects.

The first aspect that I was sure I wanted were t-shirts that said “bridesmaid” for them, and one for the that said “bride” for me. I looked all over Etsy for shirts with a font, style and color I liked, but none of them were exactly what I wanted. I ended up getting super soft t-shirts from Target and having a close family friend do an iron on heat transfer vinyl on the shirts in a rose gold vinyl we got at Michael’s.

The next aspect of the gift I knew I wanted was a personalized aspect with their name. I had seen many mugs and tumblers personalized on pinterest, but since it was summer I knew I didn’t want a mug, and I wanted something glass not plastic so that it would last longer. Lucky for me, Amazon has everything including these cute glass water bottles. The same family friend who did the shirts, also did a rose gold adhesive vinyl on the bottles and it was perfect.

One aspect that all bridesmaids proposal boxes need is a cute “bridesmaid” gift that is cute, and most likely a little cheesy. I found a package that came with bridesmaids hair ties and bracelets on amazon and it was perfect (and a really good deal)! (the exact link is not the one I purchased but by the pictures and reviews it appears to be the same product)

I wanted to add another fun feminine aspect to the boxes but didn’t want to spend a crazy amount of money. Bath and Body Works has having sale so all their mid-size summer lotions were were on sale for $4.50 (usually $12.50) so I grabbed one for each of my bridesmaids and picked up a lotion and this cute “Future Mrs.” hand sanitizer both in my favorite scent, pretty as a peach (the lotions aren’t pictured in the boxes because they are under the shirts).

The final aspect of the proposal boxes that took the longest to find were the boxes themselves. I spent weeks looking for a box that was the right shape and size for their gifts. Then amazon, as usual suggested the perfect pack of bridesmaid proposal boxes that came in a pack of 5, it worked for me because I had 4 bridesmaids, but they also sell maid/matron of honor boxes separately if you have 6+ bridesmaids. They are a little on the pricey side, but they were so cute and nice quality and they have a magnet closure so they can even be used for the bridesmaid’s pictures and moments after the big day so I’d say they were definitely worth the money!

It all came together perfectly and my bridesmaids loved them! Below I’ll share a few pics of the bridesmaid proposal below!
