Monji Gardens Tour

As promised, here is the more detailed post on our wedding venue, The Gardens at Monji. Every time I visit it, I fall more in love (which is probably why I have gone to see it four times). So this post will act as a sort of virtual tour through the venue along with what I love about each aspect.

Ceremony Stage

The stage and lawn are where the ceremony will take place. The grass is fake (so always green and beautiful) and has plenty of room for chairs for both small and larger weddings. I love the details of the stage with the stone steps and the wooden grand alter. There are so many fun ways to decorate the alter but it is also beautiful all on its own.

Bridal suite

The bridal suite is one of my favorite parts of the whole venue (which, if you know me, isn’t surprising). Everything about this room is gorgeous from the vanity to the bathroom. The room is plenty big for all your bridesmaids, your mom, and your dress! It has a mini fridge for drinks and snacks, couches and chairs for sitting, and a bathroom big enough for your dress (and someone to hold it for you… very important).

Groom’s Lounge

Knowing how guys are, the groom’s lounge is far less pretty (I doubt you’re surprised) and isn’t as big but it is still the perfect space that the guys will need for the wedding day. It has a mini fridge, a couch, chairs, and a flat screen (and a couple of mirrors in case they decide to see how they look). The groom’s lounge does not have their own bathroom because the guest bathrooms are located right by it.

Grand hall and patio

The grand hall is where the reception will be held. I love that the large windows give the room a very open feel. I also love the option to have the large door to the patio open for cocktail hour and the reception, it helps to make the space feel larger and more open. The space is very spacious and will fit all of our guests comfortably and the dj and dance floor which is very important. Because of the simplicity of the hall you have a lot of freedom with decorations, but it is also pretty enough to not need extensive decorating. The patio is by a rock waterfall which is beautiful for photos and also just sitting by. Overall i am very excited to make this space my own for our special day.

As you can see there are so many amazing things to love about this venue and I am so glad I get to share this whole wedding experience with all of you. Everyone at Monji has been so amazing and easy to work with so I am even more excited for this journey because they make it all so fun. If you are interested in Monji for any event they have a gallery of photos along with detailed information on their website.
